Recent progress on Zombie image number one. I love drawing zombies because each one is its own little story. You can't just draw a generic zombie. You have to think about who they were in life, what they were doing when they turned, and how they died. You have to know how long they've been a zombie, and what has happened to them since. If all of that comes through in the image of the zombie, you've done justice to the genre. This one was inspired by my discovery that hardcore surfers actually ride the N'awlins waves.
